The Hotel “Izmailovo Gamma-Delta” was built for the Olympic games in Moscow in 1980 for foreign athletes and journalists. The author of the project of the hotel, a famous Soviet architect Rabaev, was awarded the State Prize of the USSR for the idea. The Hotel “Gamma-Delta” consists of two buildings with a total capacity of more than 3, 5 thousand people. The Hotel’s building is located on the shores of Silver Grape ponds, near Izmailovo Park. Guests may use conference complex which consists of six halls and classrooms. On the ground floor, there is a recreation complex "Paro clinica” where Russian, Turkish baths, saunas, swimming pool with underwater massage, massage room and bar are placed. The hotel has become annually a venue for the President's Christmas tree, as well as the Christmas tree, which is arranged for children by mayor Yuri Luzhkov’s office.
